Well Building
Clean water close to home, so families stop walking hours each day and children stay in school. A lasting Sadaqah Jariyah.
40,000+ people reached with food, clothes, shoes, medicine and mobility aids along Kenya's coast. Helping Hands is a small team on the ground. Every project is visited, photographed and reported back to the people who funded it.
Helping Hands was started by a team of Kenyans who wanted to give back to their own people. They saw families along the coast living without clean water, safe shelter or enough to eat, and decided to act, one well, one home and one meal at a time.
Today Helping Hands works across villages on Kenya's coast. The team on the ground oversee every project in person, so donors can see exactly where their help goes.
Every project has a clear cost. When it's complete, you receive photos and video of what you helped build.

A safe, dry home for a family in need. Built by local workers, handed over with the family there to receive the keys.
A place of prayer and learning at the heart of the village. Give towards the whole build or sponsor a part of it.
We carry out your Qurbani locally and share the meat with families who rarely eat it. You receive a video on the day.
Zakat is kept separate from general donations and passed only to people who are eligible to receive it.
A member of the Helping Hands team will message you on WhatsApp within 24 hours with the ways to give, from the UK, Kenya or anywhere else.
